Hitachi announces two new hard drives – uses them for their external HDD

Hitachi has announced two new hard drives before CES 2012 starts – the 1TB Travelstar 5K1000 and the 4TB Deskstar 7K4000. While they will sold to OEMs, Hitachi will also use them for its G-Technology branded external hard drives, meaning consumers will be able to use them.
